Frieda

A rare quiet moment with Frieda this morning, when Simone (aka the whirlwind) was out of the room. F loves imaginary worlds and can create them with almost any props. This was part of a fantasy castle.
F slept well but S was restless, and I spent most of the night on the spare bed with her. She and I were up and about from around 5.30 am. An emerging back tooth is bothering her, and she's had a run of broken nights recently. She was good-humoured through it all, however, and as chatty as ever.
So I was a bit bleary-eyed when Jack & Marianna picked the girls up around 11.
However, an afternoon nap soon put things right.
They'll all be away for much of August, & we'll miss them.
