A view from Jeanneb

Pictures

This is a painting of a photograph. So a picture of a picture.
It was painted in Paris from a photograph of Jude ( foreground) and Eda having a picnic on Stac Pollaidh last summer. Somewhere they always climb as it’s so near and is the view across the bay from where they, and we stay.
The view from up there is of the Assynt mountains as well as Inverpoly and Coigach and the sea. The main mountain in the view is Suilven.

It was a thank you gift from Grampa Scotland for a design job John did for his wife. These things don’t always work well but I think this one has as it was a super photo. I have it on my mousemat.

Chris was putting a picture up for Grace this morning. It is hanging outside Grace’s walk in clothes closet which was made from the bathroom/ bedroom conversion last year. She thought it was appropriate as the ‘cartoon’ figure isn’t wearing any clothes!

Just given the girls their lunch and when the neighbours return from the park they are going there till Grace gets home from rehearsal at around 7.00pm so we can get on the road home.
A lovely, if at times exhausting, visit and we’ll be back in two weeks for ‘show time’!
