Evening light

We were up early again. *Sigh*
We should have stayed another night, but we needed to get back to Travis Perkins in Guildford to collect the remaining two council stones. We made it by the skin of our teeth - just five minutes before closing time at 12 PM. This time, they used a forklift truck to bring the stones to the car, so loading was easier.

We had a decorator visit in the afternoon. He had already seen the outside of the Lodge but felt it right that we should meet each other before he starts work later in the week. I tried out the collapsible desk, which finally got delivered yesterday. We should have had it on Wednesday. G put on the DVD of Hello Dolly, but we had to stop it during the Intermission. The rest of the evening was quiet. The best thing about today has been how much cooler it is. We even had a bit of rain.
