Lazy day

It was so lazy I didn’t even take a photo so here is my next book. It was written by the author who wrote about the library in Jersey in the war. I will start it tonight.

Our outings included Bunnings and the library. I bought 2 little shrubs and some other garden supplies. At the library I saw an old work colleague who I haven’t seen since last year. We have arranged to meet for lunch next week to catch up. He is 20 years younger than me but we are still mates.

The weather was a bit horrible. Cold and damp so I didn’t do much outside. After my bigger walk yesterday with a sore back I decided to do some back exercises. They made it worse and my hip is hurting a bit too. I rested today and will try again but not as vigorous next time.

The pen in the photo was a farewell gift from my midwife friends in Dubbo when I left and moved to Bathurst in 1995. I replace the inside so it has been blue and black and back to blue again. It has my name engraved on it. A very useful gift.
