Tea pot cosy

It’s a little bit small and I didn’t like the top so re did it twice. Not perfect but Bob is pleased and I enjoyed knitting the easy pattern using up left over yarn. Now I’m back doing the blue jumper I started last week.

The tea towel was a souvenir from Norfolk Island. The early settlers had hens and roosters and hundreds of years later they are everywhere and a symbol of the island. They plus roaming cows have right of way on the roads. There aren’t many cars and the ones there are tiny due to no proper wharf.

Later: I just heard 90,000 marched across the Sydney Harbour Bridge in support of the Palestinians. I feel so helpless with them starving in Gaza so am thrilled people have shown up to demonstrate. Police said people were well behaved. I think peaceful demonstrations like this are powerful.
