Great Grandad, Grandad and Dad

Bank holiday this weekend and my Dad has come to stay for a few days, he is well into his eighties and has always been a very happy and healthy mature gentleman.

Sadly now his mental capacity is beginning to fade - physically he is strong and healthy but he is becoming more confused, not confused enough though that he cannot see and feel the changes and this is the saddest thing of all - that he is aware and is frustrated and sad and sometimes angry much of the time.

A day at the coast with fish and chips on the lovely old Victorian pier planned for tomorrow (weather permitting).
