Sun Sea and little people

What a wonderful day today has been, nice lazy start with a hearty breakfast then away by 10.00.
By the time we got to the quiet west side of Llandudno the sky was blue and the sun was shining.
I did realise half way through our day that the day was almost identical to when we took Thomas our 2 year old grandson for his first trip to the beach earlier this summer.
First we stopped off and fed the seagulls and swans which share a small lake right next to the sea, separated by a low concrete wall. My dad was like a two year old in the delight he showed when all the birds were squabbling over his bread treats.

Then it was a lovely long walk along the coast path the scenery here is simply stunning.
We then drove the short mile to the busier side of Llandudno where majestic very well preserved old hotels face the equally majestic well preserved old Victorian pier.
Fish and chips facing the sea, then a longer than we thought stroll to the end of the pier where a live Jazz band was entertaining all, we had a pot of tea while enjoying the music, views out to sea and a spot of people watching. Then it was home to a pub dinner with a few pints of selected real ales for Dad and B ( I volunteered to drive the last few miles home).

We will all sleep the sound sleep which usually follows a day at the sea side.

Choosing a photo to blip was again a problem for me. I chose this one firstly because it shows my men having such a fun time, but also because of the little person scrambling across Dads arm - don't know what she plans to do when she reaches B??
If you have a few minutes here is a link to more photos from today.
