Evening light
A quieter sort of day as we were going to see Eddi Reader at the Fringe by the Sea at North Berwick.
Late getting up and later for breakfast which meant later for a walk along the Water of Leith for a coffee at the Corner Cafe. At least tea was early, we were sitting down at 4.00pm so that we could get to the concert in good time.
Eddi Reader was excellent; singing her popular songs accompanied by her husband, Boo Herewardine, an bassist and Alan Kelly, all wonderful musicians. Her vocal range, flowing movement and rich variety of songs were a joy.
If only she was on longer. An hour and 15 minutes and the support act was 25 minutes giving us 1hour and 40 minutes of music in the 2 hours and 40 minutes we were sat in the tent.
Anyway, the evening light in the interval made for today’s blip
