A trip to ikea this morning before going to Bruntsfield for an Optician appointment. Such a very thorough thing these days, anyway, once again good health in and around my eyes and no prescription change for the lenses. Driving vision still good enough without glasses.

On saying goodnight to Donald he said in conspiratal way, 'a post precautionary measure is always to sharpen your brush bristles in case of attack'. It took a long time for him to string these words together, several attempts were made but he was very pleased when I finally repeated them back correctly.
