I was on my way to Mission Flats at 6 AM. My cell phone insisted it was raining, but it was dry as I backed out the car. I managed the bridge restrictions. 

To my delight, I spied a lovely doe and her spotted twins munching their way along the roadside. I got some shots before they crossed the road in front of me and dived down the bank to the river's shoreline. One fawn stayed very close to mother while the other seemed more independent and adventuresome. 

I drove to the end of the road for my view of the delta of the Thompson River, then I started for home.

Arriving home, my laptop tells me its raining.....and it's not. What's happening with our forecasting? 

I'm meeting a friend for lunch today and we must retrieve the car from the dealership this afternoon.
