Another One To Learn
I am confident in you Blippers and your knowledge, so I do hope one of you will tell me what this flower is. I have this feeling that I should know, and it feels like it's somewhere in the vast void that is my brain, but I just can't seem to access it.
But it's a nice little flower. There's pink ones too!
Once more this is from the wonderful Storey Gardens in Lancaster. On days where I can't be bothered to wander too far from home, this is the destination I turn to.
It's range of flowers and fruit is constantly changing, so there's always something there that I can grab a snap of for a Blip.
Today was one of those days. It started all wet and dark, and I went back to bed after breakfast and pills, only to wake up shortly after with the sun on face from the window.
And then it rained.
And then the sun came out.
And it carried on like that, until the weather calmed down about lunchtime and became cloudy but bright with periods of sun.
But I wasn't feeling all that energetic by the time I strolled out into the big wide world outside, so I only made it as far as the Storey, and then ambled on home.
But as said, there's always a few treats to see there. And the gardens at my apartment complex, maintained by my neighbour Christine and another neighbour whose name I don't know for the most part, has a good selection of stuff too.
See the extra today for one example. I tend to take a photo of this one every day, but it's only made it to Blip once (the extra I mean) so far. So I thought I'd let it at least sneak into play as an extra.
A thank you to all the people who came to my journal yesterday and didn't write me off as suffering from the Screaming Habba-dabbas (a term my old psychology tutor popularised) after reading my explanation of how I remember agapanthus.
