Outsiders

A more low-key kind of day.

A decent swim in the morning and then out for lunch at The Outsider. Very nice indeed, we did oursens proud and even split a dessert. Get us.

We did partake in one cultural festival thing with a mid-afternoon piece of theatre at The Conference Centre. We'd got fiver tickets for Tom At The Farm and I have to say that it was a pretty spectacular production. A huge minimal stage that gradually got covered in all manner of liquids and mud (as did the actors) as the intense atmosphere and physically threatening nature of the material really did create quite the experience. Oh, and as it was a Brazilian production it was all in Portuguese of course. With English surtitles. Really glad I went but quite a demanding couple of hours with no interval - jeezo, the cast really did put in a shift.

A pint in the local on the way home and we were on our sofas by seven thirty. Stopping in, going nowhere for once.
