Back Blip of a boat trip

Almost a month ago we were on a boat in Lisbon. Have already posted some shots from that day, but just edited these yesterday, so sneaking them in!

This is the 'Monument of the Discoveries', completed in 1960, which celebrates Portugal's explorers. Another in extras plus a selfie of me with Jesus (!) - a statue of Christ the King, based on the larger Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio. The giant statue and shrine was erected to express gratitude because the Portuguese were spared the direct destructive effects of World War II. There is also a shot looking up at the 25th of April Bridge - renamed in 1974 to mark Portugal's revolution.

It was a small boat with two crew and about 8 or 10 passengers. A very pleasant couple of hours
