Destruct

a big landmark building in our very small street is being demolished. I pity those living closer, as it is a hive of industry right now. It will be a shame to not see this big old clunker behind us. I’ve gotten used to it over the years.
In the nine years we’ve been in the street, every house has changed hands, new buildings replaced an old retirement home, half the trees have been replaced, the end of the street has an extra extension, the road surface has been ripped up and replaced, all the parking signs have changed. And now the big retirement building is being pulled down for redevelopment. Not a the quiet little crescent we thought it once was.
