The Do

Up early to get in the office. My young padawan had a bad night's sleep so she had a bit of a lie in.

I had one final audit to get through, which I did with flying colours. As usual. Lol!

There was another team meeting without me, so I went for a wander in the park again.

It was my leaving do, so I dashed back to the hotel to get changed and got back to the office. The team were there and presented me with gifts and cards. There was also a video, a montage of photos over the years. It broke my heart to see all those memories knowing that this is the end now.

We then went to the F1 Experience where you could compete on simulators. It was a great laugh. I broke my alcohol ban for this occasion.

My young padawan and I had a heart to heart, we don't need to say much, we both know what we mean to each other but we were both open and honest. I think the world of her. She is considering getting a tattoo to remember our time together.

We then went to get food and there was some music as well, so we had a bit of a dance as well.

My young padawan was rather merry so I had to walk her back to our next pub, around the corner from our hotel. She was a bit ill though so we then made sure she was tucked up in bed to sleep it off.

We finished the night with a few baby guinnesses.

It was an absolute blast of an evening.

Today I am thankful for:

2. A wonderful evening with my team and friends
