Painted Lady

Another busy market! I think summer is in full swing in Arnside.
We went to Lynne for lunch, she’s feeling sad after going to another funeral, and she was pleased to entertain us for a while. Bonnie went in her pond twice to retrieve tennis balls put there to prevent ice…she was rescuing them!
Lynne kindly gave us some delicious Victoria plums which I may turn into jam.
Then we returned home and there were Painted Ladies everywhere!
