Staying cool

The day more or less started with a video call to #1 son about changeovers and toilet seats.
Once I got up the task was to tidy the house, do some necessary cleaning and put it all back to normal, before the next guest arrives tomorrow night.

Glad to say, Mission Accomplished. There were a few deviations on the way and I had to fix a door handle, unblock the Shark (hot water shifted the blockage and clean the downstairs shower drain, the downside of having a d in l with king dark hair.

By late morning the cloud had dissipated and it was blue skies and sun. I rejigged plans, Sainsbury's can wait till tomorrow, and say in the garden, sewing. It felt much hotter than what the temperature showed.

Later I watered the back (so dry) before moving to three front and completing the last motif in my x-stitch. On to the border now.

Willow kept cool under bushes, when she's wasn't trying to hide in duvets.. Now back to watching a French series I started a few weeks ago but have still to finish.
