Sunday Family Time

I had a quick breakfast while Momma slept. She came out not long after I was finished. We decided to work on the steamed crabs right after her breakfast. I had everything set up when Mancil, Madi and Toto arrived. They wanted to introduce us to the newest member of their family. Hubby and I took turns loving on her. Momma has never been a pet person so she didn’t take a turn. We got busy with the crabs as soon as they left. I had finished my bowl and Momma had put a dent in the claws as lunch time approached. While we were busy, hubby went to the firehouse and picked up the three cakes we won at auction: Apple, coconut and walnut chocolate fudge. Jamie stopped by to bring us an Alfredo bowl for dinner and gladly accepted a slice of the coconut cake, his fav. They will all freeze well so I have a dessert to offer folks who come to visit Momma. She was not feeling well after lunch; she is napping. Hubby and I read a while. Kim stopped by and went home with tomatoes and a couple slices of the chocolate cake. We were supposed to visit with Kristen but I guess we won’t since Momma won’t want to leave home. It was so nice to see family members today. Happy we all live close by. Wishing you some family time.
