Another blue sky day. I took a few bits to the recycling site then drove to Bowness. I honestly thought I had the days mixed up and it was Sunday. The market was on the tennis courts (I thought it was only there at weekends), there were lots of people (many in Indian dress) and the main car park was full (at 9 o’clock). I parked in a roadside bay beyond that.

Convincing myself that it was Monday I wondered why so many people. They looked rather smart for a lake cruise. Walking towards the piers I noticed most were going beyond. My theory is that there was a big wedding at one of the hotels.

Popped into the Oxfam shop on the way back with some books and games then home to do the laundry.
