It feels like the end
of summer...light changes and
a different feel

I was out on Mission Flats at 7. The snarl before the bridge doesn't encourage me to do this again any time soon. When the work on the bridge is ended, all will seem easy again. 

I drove as far to the end of the road as I could. There is construction in this area, too. I stopped long enough to get some panoramas of the river and the delta. The weeds along the roadside were of interest. The wild clematis turns into balls of fluff at the end of the summer. 

I was home just after 8 and very grateful not to be in the morning rush to work anymore. It will be feet up for today.
