Hot Air Balloon over the RUH

A long day that started at 4.30am and at 8.30pm is still far from over.

With one thing and another, a manic morning then at lunchtime N helped me transport Dad's things, including his reclining chair, to the care home, ready for his arrival tomorrow. We've set up a few things in his room but I'll finish it tomorrow. What I didn't expect was to be there for 2hrs going through a stack of paperwork, so even with a lift from N into Bath, didn't get to Dad until 4pm. Spoke to the Sister in charge re meds etc, helped Dad eat his tea, read to him, then 2½hrs later left the hospital to find six hot air balloons making the most of a beautiful evening.

Bus home, put the washing on and watered the garden. Must dash, I've still a mountain of laundry to sort and then I guess I ought to eat something!
