The Lock Keepers restaurant

Staying in Gloucester Docks with friends in their apartment in an old converted warehouse building . After a trip round the Outlet Mall nearby and a few purchases we had lunch in this nice restaurant , sitting  overlooking the Severn . It was originally for a lock keeper of a lock which was built to join the Hereford and Worcester Canal with the River Severn. It has been abandoned for many years but a local group is hoping to reinstate it…see info on the extra.
