The origins of the castle Schloss Gottesaue date back to the renaissance, but the building itself has been destroyed and rebuilt several times. The current version has been rebuilt in the 80s, so not that long ago. It hosts the University of Music Karlsruhe.

On the other side of the building is currently the setting of the yearly open air cinema.

I was in the area to meet up with a friend and we went for a tiny walk before going to a cafe.
