Birthdays and Bees

I had an early dentist appointment but got up in time for my front porch ritual. My crown was sized incorrectly. They retook impressions and we will try again in late September. Drat! Meantime they reattached the temp crown. There was a beautiful yellow butterfly out back. I hurried to get it for my blip. No luck. But I found so many different butterflies and bees. You will see more in the week ahead. Love how the big one is stepping from one bloom to the other. Today is hubby’s birthday. He chose Mission BBQ for his lunch celebration. My mother found a dime on the way in. She gave it to Hubby as his gift - widow’s mite type of story, giving all she has. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I picked up groceries and updated Momma’s point of contact info at the pharmacy. It should be easier now to refill her meds now. The gang is napping as I write this. Making pulled chicken for dinner; it’s all ready. Hope to get to journals and my Kindle this evening. Hubby will be going to prayers for a friend. We will take Momma to the funeral Mass tomorrow.
