Lottsa Reading

Another book arrived from the library - this time a book I saw in another blipper's posting and it sounded like one I would like. It will follow along nicely from some other books I have recently read - set in the UK in WW2. I started it right away as another library notice came today saying that I have two more books ready to pick up!  If I do get to go to the cottage next week, I will certainly have enough books to read! 

I spent some time today plotting and scheming in my back garden. Shawn is coming tomorrow morning to plant the perennials I picked up a few days ago and I am having trouble figuring out where to plant them! I have some ideas, but Shawn will be helpful with that as he has more of a long-term picture in mind. He will be splitting and moving hostas in the fall and knows where he wants to keep spaces empty for them. I am learning quickly that Gardening Is Moving Things!

I was really disappointed today as the proposed visit to see my friend Donna in the hospital fell through. She had a bad night and was not up to company. Noreen and I will try again on Saturday. We are getting quite worried.
