Sedum with Bumblebee
Welcome sunshine this morning after yesterday’s rain, so I had a look at the back garden. Rudbeckia, geranium still in flower but well past their best, whilst the sedum is now taking its turn. This buff-tailed bumblebee was the only insect I saw whilst outside.
Four housemartins were flying around. The second brood will have fledged, so I would like to think these were they, familiarising themselves with the local area before heading south.
