Arrived in Barcelona airport at 20.15, our body time 15.15. For me though, that meant no sleep on neither the 11hrs Rio to Amsterdam flight, nor the 2hr Amsterdam to Barcelona flight, nor the few hours stopover in Rio. I’m not complaining, just recording. I did doze a little on the longer flight, but not enough to show up on my Fitbit. I watched 3 films: Real Pain, Mrs, and Brother Orange. I actually enjoyed all of them for different reasons. Real Pain for the acting, Mrs for the Indian food cooking scenes and Brother Orange for its quirkiness and because I enjoy the different culture in Chinese films.

Back home. Opened up the house. All good. Grateful that it’s been looked after during these last 6 weeks, especially all of the plants and veggies. All looking fine on the patio and balcony. The roof terrace and the veggies up there can wait till tomorrow. I imagine the tomatoes have given all they’ll give and the veggies that we have left will have gone to seed. Perhaps the peppers will still be giving.

We’re now out for a walk in the barrio, reconnecting. There’s one new bakery opened up, which may get blipped in due course.

It’s 28 degrees and humid! We may need to stay away longer next time, haha!
