Fireman squirrel!

We had some rain and thunderstorms overnight, with one clap of thunder seemingly right overhead, which made us both jump! So we woke to grey skies this morning, but we had some clearing in the afternoon.
My Thursday morning class started up again today, after a break for the summer. We had a good study with some sharing of experiences, and we finished as always in prayer for those in need, or prayers of thanksgiving. We have a lot of people in our congregation at present who are in need of prayer. In the afternoon we both went to the indoor pool for a swim. We mostly had the pool to ourselves today, and I managed 42 lengths. I thought it was 40, but when I checked my Fitbit after, it reckoned it was 42!
After our swim, we went for a drive through adjacent Glendale and I photographed another of their fiberglass squirrels they have around town -I’ve blipped several of them before. This one as you may guess is outside the Fire station.
