Emergency adjustment

We have been invited to a wedding this weekend, which is followed by a black tie reception. I haven't worn my DJ for quite a while, so I got it out yesterday to check that it was clean and pressed and ready for the event. I decided to try it on: good job I did, as I discovered that the waistband of the trousers had shrunk while they were hanging in the wardrobe! It took enormous effort to do it up, and it would have been very uncomfortable sitting for some time, never mind eating.

The trousers have therefore been sent for an emergency adjustment - to try and let out the waist a little. I should get them back late Friday afternoon for the wedding on Saturday. I hope it works!
