This chair has been on Kitty Islet on McNeil Bay for years. It's blue twin is there over the back, on the right, further across the rock. The chairs are usually side by side and people are often sitting in them watching the sea. Loads of initials and hearts carved into the wood. You can actually see the chairs on Google Earth on the satellite view. Just little blobs, red and blue, and you only notice them if you're looking. But there they are.

Kitty Islet is actually a rock outcrop that juts out into the channel between Vancouver Island and Trial Island. It's larger than it looks from the road and quite fabulous for scampering about. Also an excellent spot to sit as the tide is rushing through the channel. Rather wild and exciting.
