Waratah

Mum mentioned she'd like a photo of her Waratah in flower, so a Waratah it is. My Nana always had a Waratah in her garden, something that would have reminded her of Australia where she came from.

It's been a busy day. A hospital appointment for Dad which my brother took care of, and a hospice appointment for Mum that I accompanied her on. Then blood tests and things to sort at the chemist.

It all takes time and I'm glad to have had today off so I could help. We covered a lot at the hospice and have some new options to consider.

Oh, and I've put into the freezer: 7 meals of wild pork, 8 meals of cottage pie and 7 of macaroni cheese. They'll be set for a while :-)
