Japanese anenome

The morning light on this delicate flower enchanted me and somehow made it look a little shy and bewildered. This was exactly how I used to feel on the first day back at school after the long summer holidays. No 1 grandson went back to school today - he will not be feeling like this and for that I'm very thankful!
