Left to its fate

Time was when I'd have occasion to call in quite regularly to my bank in Lower Baggot Street. The bank branch is in the front building of what was the bank of Ireland HQ, a rather iconic representative of high-profile architecture from the good old days.

No, thanks to the collapse of the banks, this building is lying idle, waiting for a new tenant. I've blipped this piece of public art before (and also its red companion). Now both have been abandoned, and this one is already showing signs of wear and neglect.

The separate box-like yellow object on the ground beside it was originally used to hold an information panel about the art. Now it too is no more.
