New Quiz!

Yes, there's a brand new quiz at the Arts Picturehouse in Cambridge and Bums on Seats are one-half of the driving force behind it. The quiz is run by our EP Toby and Rosy from Take One (the Cambridge Film Festival magazine/website).

Of course what this really means is that we other members of BoS and Take One can take part in the quiz, and so it was on opening night that Simon and myself, with support from Stef and Emma, took the first prize!

Now, on an aside and a more troubling note, there's been a study of Cineworld's purchase of the Picturehouse chain and the sum total is that they're recommending the sale of the Arts to please the competition commission. The trouble is, they really do not appear to have done their homework - if you have the time or inclination there is a petition here to spark some debate and hopefully enourage the commission to reconsider their position.
