Down the rabbit hole

A little rain passed over us this morning, but then revealed a fresh, warm, sunny day again at around 10:30am. It's started raining again now, but I'll forgive the weather lady as it is 22:38 on the clock.

Today's Blip comes from lunch at The Orrey, a vegan cafe on Ryde High Street.
The building is a delight, in that not only does it have a vega-licious menu, it also has a vintage post card museum built into the back.
Not only that, but as you can see, it is top to toe with murals from Lewis Carrolls "Alice in Wonderland".

Did you know that "Mr Carroll" supposedly collected most of his material for 'Alice' whilst staying in Sandown?

And can you see Alice herself here in the paintings?
How about The Cheshire Cat?
And Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum?
