Toddler work crew

We're having some landscaping done this week, which includes moving the children's sandbox from its current location to a shadier spot. That will open up this relatively sunny spot for a raised bed so that I can grow vegetables again!

The children helped Laurie remove some of the sand this morning. They're always so excited to help with projects. They filled buckets up, then emptied them onto a tarp. It's a rather slow process with a crew of two-year-olds, as you can imagine.

Some of the landscape work will happen this weekend -- a new pathway will replace the lumpy, bumpy one that is difficult for me to negotiate. It will be lovely to reclaim some of the yard again.
