Teignmouth and Shaldon

The weather was kind to us today ahead of dire warnings of rain and high winds tomorrow.

We drove down to Teignmouth this morning and had coffee at The Riviera after spending some time on the 'doggy' beach just before the sea wall. All the other dogs were having a great time, chasing stones and balls and leaping in and out of the sea having a good laugh whilst shaking their fur all over their owners. Meanwhile Dylan spent his time with his nose in the sand hunting out scents. Ann tried to take him paddling but he was having none of it, as soon as the tip of his paws became wet he was off away from the tide.

We bought a sandwich and some fruit for lunch then headed off to Shaldon to sit in the sun and watch the boats and the people (lots with their doggies).

Colin came around later and I made tea of our old favourite, pilau rice with aubergine, mushrooms and petit pois.
