September, Harlow Carr

We had a lovely morning at RHS Harlow Carr near Harrogate. It was a perfect window in the weather we have been having and we were very lucky as it is raining again as I write!

There was still a lot of summer colour to enjoy and the produce garden was looking particularly fruitful but I was intrigued by this tree. The leaves are a creamy pink and I'm not sure if these are berries or bracts or both. Very attractive any way and you can see the entire tree here.

There are a few more images of the still summery gardens on this link - Harlow Carr in September.
