shotlandka's weebig world

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Distinctly wintery day, but made warmer by a lovely dinner at the NIDOS South Asia networking event. Some entertaining political banter, given the main speaker was Humza Yousaf MSP, Minister for External Relations and International Development (obviously SNP), but for some balance we had Hanzala Malik MSP (Labour). The other speaker was supposed to be a visiting speaker from Pakistan, but his visa didn't come through in time. I've been on my soap box frequently recently about the UKBA rules so won't subject you lot to my views on British immigration policy (especially with light to these friends of mine, thankfully the government came to their senses on that one!).

Came home and thought this was the ideal shot for the weather, but did notice that the set up made the Lego Gingerbread Man ever so slightly nervous...
