The Blue Loo

Are we still doing Filterama this Monday? Just in case I processed today’s image in Nik and applied a “Deep” filter in the Tone Mapping section. That particular filter certainly brings out the vivid fresh spring colours.
I rose very early and headed out with the dogs before 6.am in order to get our walk over in good time. I wanted to get home in time to get organised for watching the America’s Cup races. Oh dear….. It was a disappointing morning. Our Team New Zealand lost both races to Oracle.
So the blue of the loo and hills behind matched the mood of many people in New Zealand today.
The last time this loo was featured in Blipfoto was back on the 7th of May when the vines were all dressed up in their brilliant autumn colours. The vines are naked at present although on close examination I spotted tiny buds along the canes. “Bud Burst” is not too far away for these Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
