warm glow feeling 2

Like all traditional 'end of May' Bank Holidays it pissed it down like the proverbial cats and dogs pretty much all day today. Still, it gave us a good excuse to get on with yet more paint strippage, followed by a quick visit to materandpater to say hello to them and my gran who was staying with them for a few days.

Spent the evening playing about with the camera for a bit, trying to capture the warm crackleglow of the fire (something I couldn't really capture with oldcamera for fear of melting my freaking HAND off). We also looked through some photo albums, old and new. Lady Sp33d has an amazing memory when it comes to photographs, especially ones taken on a 'day out' somewhere. She's especially good when it comes to remembering all the little details - the sort of things that us blokes find too trivial at the time.
