Edith Cavell Glacier

Tiny Tussock reporting.
Another exciting day which started out with sun, migrated to cloud, advanced to snow and returned to sun at a lower altitude.

This morning we ventured up to the Edith Cavell Glacier and spent a few hours at this wonderful place watching the weather change and finally everything went black with a yellow tinge as The Boss put the weather cover on his camera pak and beat a retreat in heavy snow. Amazing.

Lots of thanks for yesterdays journal and the wifi connection is even worse now so if you are seeing this it is because very desperate measures have been taken as The Boss's phone will no longer data roam and he can not even hold a phone call to Telecom NZ to get it checked out via the only network we have available at our motel area which is a few K's out of Jasper.

Bigger and colder
