Springfield

So our trip began today! New Zealand is the most beautiful, untouched, un-industrialized country. It is so breath-taking, you couldn't even imagine. Today we are driving from Christchurch to Fox Glacier. The drive was magnificent. The scenery is stunning, something that will never to get old to look out...everywhere you look there are mountains and water. On the way we made tons of stops to take in everything, and one of the stops was a town called Springfield with a giant doughnut, just like in the Simpsons if you didn't put that reference together.
We didn't have an activity for the day, because it was all driving today, but once we got settled in, in our hostel, we went to a local bar...the only bar. But it was a lot of fun to get to know everyone.
