Happy Birthday Fi!

Headed round to Fi's a bit earlier this morning having picked a few select flowers from mum's garden to make a small Happy Birthday posie for her :) Off to school then a final walk with Gerty, this time around the Devil's Cave (lol!) area. Back for a bit of breakfast with mum then in to town for a few things before heading back and getting stuck into the packing.

Picked Fi up after work then picked Gaynor up - one of Fi's very good friends who has travelled up from London to celebrate Fi's birthday with her. With friends and family gathered I think Fi has had a great night :)

It's bed-time now . . . . . . we're heading to Heathrown at 6.30am . . . . . very mixed emotions. Sadness at leaving family knowing it will be a year or two before I see them again, but some latent anticipation about my Indian adventure . . . .
