A second visit to the RPS Exhibition at the Civic

A late lunch out at Rob Royd, and very good it was. Followed by a visit to the chapel where Ann's writing group meets on a Thursday to see if she could find her lost diary (no luck) and then we thought we might go to the art gallery for Ann to see the Printmakers exhibition and the Edward Wadsworth gallery. No such luck - we arrived at 3.15 and they'd closed at 3.00! Saturday afternoon - surely galleries should be open then!! So we went to the Royal Photographic International Print Exhibition instead (a second visit for me). There are some superb photographs this year which includes a strong journalistic core which certainly challenges thinking and perceptions of the world. Brilliant - it's all happening in Barnsley (when it's open.)
