Hidden Paradise

We were blessed with an unexpected summer sunny day, what an opportunity to make an infra red shot before the leafs start falling.

Some background info:
The Begijnhof is the only inner court in the center of Amsterdam. A group of historic buildings, mostly private dwellings, circle around a peaceful courtyard. As the name suggests, it was originally a Béguinage founded approx 1389. Nice detail its is at medieval street level, which means a meter below the rest of the old city center. Today it's also the site of the English Reformed Church.

It's officially not allowed, but you can step forward into the picture by pressing the 'L' for large key or using the magnifying glass ;-))
