Everyone at work was interested to hear how I got on at the concert last night, more about the building than Rod as my company is one of the main sponsors of the arena.

Very busy today as it's the final week of my boss as head of the department and there is so much to organise socially as well as work stuff.

message from my daughter from Glasgow airport to say that their flight was delayed and Cameron was fine he was doing his travel book but Ben was getting fed up and was running round a pillar. Thankfully the flight is off now heading to the sunshine.

It's a bit brrr here so that's the heating on but think an early night is in order after the late one last night.

My vase of sunflowers are a nice reminder of summer.
