Samois sur Seine

This afternoon I walked down to the Seine and along the river to Hericy, where I took this shot across the river to Samois sur Seine, famous for being the village to which Django Reinhardt retired, and hosts an annual jazz festival in his honor. The bridge on the left leads to an island, Ile du Berceau. While I was down at the river, it started to rain, and I thought I was going to get caught out, but fortunately it didn't come to much.
