Strawberries at Zucchini

It stopped raining .... a welcome relief after our ingress of water. So, I went out for a walk early afternoon, very warm and humid. I could hardly believe the amount of strawberries in the street display outside Zucchini, a fruit and veg shop in Nithsdale Road.

Good things this evening :
#2 cooked dinner. Marinated chicken in a delicious combo of soy sauce, honey, ginger, onion, garlic and wine, with roasted veg.

BBC4 delights - thirty minutes of perfection, enjoying the Transatlantic Sessions. Shivers down my spine hearing Julie Fowlis and Karen Matheson singing to a quality band which included Phil Cunningham, Donald Shaw and John McCusker. And then Elton John at his best. What a show. "Tiny Dancer" and "Your Song" will always be favourites.

News highlight of the day was hearing about the planned transformation of the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow. It will bring together exhibits from Civic collections and the Hunterian Museum at the University of Glasgow. The promise of interiors of Kate Cranston's Tearooms by Charles Rennie Mackintosh is very exciting.

Toy Camera effect again on the G15.
