Golden Duck

I walked past the goosefield (no geese) to the Grand Weir Hide. I had it to myself, probably because the only thing to see was ranks of Canada geese.

I shot some lovely cows that were running with a bull and reflected in a pond. Had my title ready. "The Lowing Herd Winds Slowly O'er The Lea" (Valley) :)

I spent some time on the pontoon overlooking Seventy Acres Lake. A woman with a long grey plait arrived with a big yellow drum of food for the waterfowl. She lay on the decking feeding them. The sun broke through and this mallard flew in to feed on the liquid gold lake in golden hour.
